1 Who is responsible for your information
Bald Business LLC operates Own the Wash as part of its EPIC programs and is responsible for the personal information described in this Policy. Own the Wash and EPIC are program names in this context, not separate sellers of the Ownership Playbook or OTW Advantage.
This Policy covers our websites, forms, webinars, program purchases, support, communications, and events. It explains our collection, use, disclosure, retention, and protection of personal information and the choices available to you. It does not govern a separate provider's independently operated services.
2 Information we collect
We collect information relevant to your interactions with us, including the following categories:
- Contact and account information: Name, business name, email, phone number, mailing or billing address, account identifiers, login credentials if an account is created, and communication preferences.
- Project and professional information: Ownership experience, goals, intended role, target markets, land or site information you provide, capital ranges, business background, and other information in your Ownership Profile, supporting materials, or Project Profile.
- Transaction information: Products purchased, enrolled locations, price, billing schedule, payment status, refunds, consent records, and limited payment information returned by the processor, such as payment method type and last four digits. Payment details entered in the processor's secure fields are handled by that processor under its own applicable terms and privacy disclosures.
- Communications and participation: Messages, support requests, scheduling information, session notes, webinar attendance, resource access, event registration, and recordings where required notice and consent have been provided.
- Device and online activity: IP address, browser and device information, approximate location derived from IP address, pages viewed, referring pages, cookies, identifiers, advertising interactions, and email engagement information such as opens or clicks where those tools are used.
- Planning conclusions: Market priorities and project summaries prepared from the information you provide and relevant research. These are planning materials, not credit decisions or an assurance that a project qualifies for financing.
Please do not send Social Security numbers, full bank credentials, identification documents, or other unnecessary sensitive information through general contact forms or email. If a specific service requires sensitive information, we will identify an appropriate collection method, purpose, and any required consent. An optional event accommodation request should contain only the information needed to address it.
3 Where information comes from
Sources include you and your authorized representatives; your use of our sites and communications; our service and payment providers; event or webinar registration; public business and property information; and business partners involved in an inquiry or handoff you request. We do not treat another person's referral as your blanket permission to receive marketing texts or to share sensitive records.
4 How we use information
We use relevant information to respond to inquiries, assess program fit, prepare and deliver the Ownership Playbook and Project Profile, schedule sessions, operate OTW Advantage, coordinate requested support, administer member events, and maintain account and transaction records.
We also use information to process authorized payments, prevent fraud, secure systems, troubleshoot problems, improve resources and customer experience, understand website performance, send communications consistent with your choices, manage disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Advertising uses and your choices are described below. We do not make lending or permit decisions through the program.
5 When we disclose information
Service providers. We disclose information needed by providers that perform hosting, customer relationship management, scheduling, email and text delivery, payment processing, analytics, storage, security, and event administration for us. Our tools may include GoHighLevel and Webflow and, where used in your transaction, Stripe. Providers receive information appropriate to their work and are subject to applicable contractual and legal restrictions.
Requested project and support handoffs. We may disclose relevant contact, project, and support information to a manufacturer, service provider, lender, or professional when you request an introduction, authorize a handoff, or ask us to coordinate a support issue. We limit a handoff to information relevant to its purpose and obtain consent where required. A provider's independent use after a handoff is governed by its privacy disclosures and applicable law. Purchase does not authorize unrestricted distribution of your financial records or automatic enrollment in another company's marketing.
Advertising and analytics. Tools such as Meta and Google may receive online identifiers and activity information when advertising or analytics tools are enabled, subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements. Some disclosures may constitute sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under state privacy laws even if no money is exchanged. See Section 6 for choices.
Other program participants. Information you choose to post in community areas or share with other owners may be visible to those participants. We do not publish your private Ownership Profile to the community merely because you enroll. An event attendee list or promotional testimonial is not authorized solely by your purchase; we provide the applicable notice and obtain permission where required.
Legal and business purposes. We may disclose information as reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud, or complete a merger, sale, or other legitimate business transaction subject to applicable protections. Access by personnel supporting EPIC programs within Bald Business LLC is limited to legitimate duties; separate companies are not given unrestricted access simply because they are associated with a program.
6 Cookies advertising and privacy choices
We use necessary technologies for functions such as security, forms, and checkout. Optional analytics and advertising technologies may help measure visits and campaign performance. Where consent is required, those optional technologies are used only after the required consent. Where an opt-out right applies, we stop the covered activity after a valid opt-out, subject to lawful exceptions.
You can use the website's Privacy Choices control, contact info@ownthewash.com, or enable a legally recognized browser opt-out signal such as Global Privacy Control. We honor such signals where required by applicable law. A browser signal generally applies to that browser or device and, where we can associate it with an account, to that account as required by law. Deleting cookies or changing devices may require renewing choices that are not linked to your account.
Browser settings can also block or delete cookies, although doing so may affect necessary functions. A generic Do Not Track setting is different from a legally recognized opt-out signal; there is no uniform response to all Do Not Track settings. We do not condition recognition of a legally required opt-out signal on whether an advertising vendor prefers to support it.
7 Email phone texts and recordings
You may unsubscribe from optional marketing emails through their unsubscribe link. For marketing texts you have consented to receive, follow the STOP instructions or contact us. Purchase is not conditioned on optional marketing consent. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent necessary receipts, security notices, service updates, or other legally permitted transactional communications.
We obtain any consent required for automated marketing calls or texts separately. We do not transfer that consent to independent companies. Call or session recording occurs only with the notice and consent required by applicable law. We provide information about the purpose of a recording when obtaining consent.
8 Retention and security
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for its stated purpose, our contractual obligations, or a lawful requirement. Relevant factors include your active service or membership, transaction and tax record obligations, the need to document consent and service delivery, dispute limitation periods, security requirements, and legal holds.
Inquiry and marketing information is retained for the relevant relationship and communication purpose; project and service records for fulfillment and legitimate recordkeeping; payment and consent records for applicable financial, legal, and dispute requirements; and recordings and technical logs only for the relevant operational or security need. We then delete, deidentify, or securely restrict information as appropriate. A limited suppression record may be retained to honor an opt-out. Retention is not indefinite simply because you once bought a program.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information. No system is completely secure. We respond to incidents and provide notifications as required by applicable law. Our services are directed primarily to the United States, and information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our providers operate, subject to applicable transfer requirements.
9 Privacy rights and requests
Depending on your residence and the law applicable to Bald Business LLC, you may have rights to access or know information, receive a portable copy, correct inaccuracies, delete information, opt out of sale or sharing, opt out of targeted advertising or certain profiling, limit qualifying uses of sensitive information, withdraw consent where applicable, and appeal a denied request. We do not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. A right does not require deletion of information that the law permits or requires us to retain.
Submit a request through the Privacy Choices control on our website or email info@ownthewash.com with the subject Privacy Request. You may also write to the address in Section 12. We do not require you to open a new account to request privacy rights. We may verify identity or authority using information reasonably necessary for the request. Authorized agents may submit requests subject to verification permitted by law. We do not require identity verification for a browser opt-out beyond what applicable law allows.
We respond within applicable legal deadlines and explain any permitted extension or denial. Where a 45-day response period applies, we follow it and provide notice of any permitted extension. To appeal a decision where an appeal right applies, email info@ownthewash.com with the subject Privacy Appeal and identify the request. We will explain the outcome and any available regulator complaint process.
10 Additional state disclosures
California residents have the applicable rights described above when the California Consumer Privacy Act applies, including rights concerning covered business contact information. Covered online advertising disclosures can constitute sale or sharing. We do not use a general statement that no data is sold for cash to negate an applicable opt-out right. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of individuals under 16.
The categories of information, purposes, sources, and recipient categories in Sections 2 through 5 describe this service's data practices. If required by California law, the following additional record must identify actual practices during the preceding 12 months, including any category sold or shared and the recipient categories: [INSERT VERIFIED CALIFORNIA 12 MONTH DISCLOSURE RECORD IF APPLICABLE]. For California request intake where required, call [PRIVACY REQUEST TOLL FREE NUMBER]. These details must be completed before publication if those requirements apply.
Texas and other state privacy rights depend on statutory coverage and exceptions. Where applicable, we honor rights and appeals required by those laws, including recognized opt-out signals. Mandatory rights are not waived by accepting our Terms or purchasing a service.
11 Children and policy changes
Our services are intended for adults age 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in practices or law. The effective date identifies the current version. For material changes, we provide additional notice and obtain consent where required. A new policy does not retroactively authorize incompatible uses that require a new consent.
